    • DURRING COVID-19 and no face to face meetings guidance on how to advance

      • When a Scout is ready to have a Rank Advancement signed off, the process would go like this;

        • 1. The Scout would need to go to the website for the Troop, https://www.troop11tx.org/ Then navigate to the Advancements Guide page.

        • 2. There, on blue banner, along with the Scoutmaster Scheduler and the BOR Scheduler, they would find a new link for Online Rank Advancements Scheduler.

        • 3. The Scout would fill out the form and request a time for the online meeting to take place. It would be easier to schedule these zoom meeting for Mondays from 6 PM to 7 PM (8 PM to 9 PM if not completed prior to the meeting and patrol time).

        • 4. Once the Scout determines the best time, and a request is sent, the Scheduler can then make contact with the PL or Scout (Youth Leader), ASM's or a ASM and a Committee Member to conduct the zoom meeting at the time the Scout requested.

        • 5. Once the zoom meeting has been completed and the Scout has satisfied the Youth Leader as to his knowledge or skill for the particular rank advancement, the ASM can immediately sign it off in Scoutbook and make a note in the notes field on the requirement completed, the date, time and youth leader with the two leaders who meet with the Scout.
