If you would like to become a Merit Badge Counselor do the following steps

1. (Not required) Fill out Troop 11 MBC Questionnaire: MBC-Questionnaire (Updating to new Form hosted in T11 Google drive ) Still needed to keep up your
2. Fill out BSA Adult Leadership Application:

   • or Ask Committee Chair for a paper application
3. Fill out BSA Merit Badge Counselor Information From: http://www.scouting.org/filestore/pdf/34405.pdf
4. Print current YPT
5. Print Merit Badge Counselor Training Cert
   • Take MBC training by Longing on to my.scouting.org
   • Click "Click here to take Training" Looks like YPT logo on right
   • Click Course Catalog
   • Boy Scouting
   • Under Categories Click LP - Merit Badge Counselor
   • Follow instructions to complete the training
   • Print Training Cert - Turn in cert to T11 Training Chair to make sure it gets updated in SB. (Should Sync in automatically)
6. Turn in BSA adult Leadership App and BSA MBC info form and Training Cert to Troop 11 Committee Chair.
   • Turn into Mike he adds to council records
   • T11 Advancement Chair adds to SB
